About Us: The Agents of Infinite

Infinite Ammo is a collective of writers and artists supplying the public with free reviews, custom content, and special interest articles on comics, video games, movies, and literature. That is to say we’re all nerds. But all nerds with varying tastes. As such, we have staunch opinions about various topics, none of which (we can promise) are based on corporate agendas; we promise to give you nothing but our own biases and opinions. Not Microsoft’s or Sony’s, not Marvel’s or DC’s. We are fans writing for fans. We are…

The Agents of Infinite

Louis Santiago – Gamer; Comic Lover; Fantasy Lover; Amateur Fantasy Writer; Photographer; Artist

Born and raised in the Bronx, I’ve aspired to be a fantasy writer ever since I first played Final Fantasy III for the SNES. Since then, I’ve spent an irrational amount of time creating new worlds and learning how best to express them. Now an adult, I invest a lot of my time in putting those worlds to paper, losing opportunities left and right to see my dream to it’s end, for better or worse. Right now, I’m endeavoring to completely rewrite a fantasy novel I started in 2005 and finished about two years ago. To join me on my quest and learn more about me, check out my blog!

Super Power of Choice:

  • Broken? Teleportation with no stipulations (teleport anywhere, even if I haven’t been there, with no delay and no danger, as often as I want).
  • Not broken? The healing factor without a doubt.

Chaos Mechanica – Avid Gamer; Hardcore Comic Enthusiast; Thrillseeker; Mythology Buff; Writer/Artist/Filmmaker

When you hear people say they’ve been doing their amazing talent since they can remember, you call Shenanigans. I can say it’s totally true. From drawing under my grandma’s coffee table to making my own comics out of composition notebooks; from meticulously designing elaborate storylines and sagas to writing poetry with words and video; art is all I’ve known and it’s all I ever want from life. It’s my escape, my pleasure, my transcendence. My greatest passion in life is creativity in all its forms and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

  1. Final Fantasy VIII
  2. Final Fantasy Tactics
  3. Zone of the Enders: The 2econd Runner

What I want out of life?
To push my mind and body to its limits; to see and understand things I never thought I would; and to skydive, land on the moon (or at least make it to space) and to make at least one major change to the world.
What don’t I need?
Religious Fundamentalists; Snobs; Sparkly Vampires; Boring Food; Complacency; Drama.

Darth Healthcare – Gamer, Bowler, Music Lover, Math Teacher Extraordinaire

People tell me my username is silly, to which I usually reply, “All usernames are silly, and so are you.”  After they finish crying, I explain that “Darth Healthcare” really encapsulates the person I grew up into.  “Darth” represents my Star Wars/video game/internet loving side, and “Healthcare” represents the part of me grounded in real world events (politics, the economy).  All of this is to say that I put a hell of a lot more thought into my username than Sidious did when he burped out “Darth Vader” for Anakin.
I’m currently trying to find a job as a math teacher.  During my time student teaching, I randomly took to writing reviews of new music albums as a way to keep my sanity.  It worked so well that now I do it for fun on this very blog in the “A New Album Appears!” series, though I’ll be contributing elsewhere as well.  And yes, like your favorite DJ I too take requests.

Top 5 Games:

  1. Metroid Prime
  2. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles
  3. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
  4. Bioshock
  5. Just Cause 2 (a game so stupid you have to love it)

Top 5 Bands:

  1. Muse
  2. Rage Against the Machine
  3. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
  4. Queen
  5. The Pixies

Gentleman Monster – Film Nerd, Comic Book Expert, Animation Fan, Punk Rock Enthusiast, Noir Proponent

The two coolest people in the world in my opinion are David Bowie and Grant Morrison. I guess that explains where I’m coming from most of the time. The rest of time I’m divided between the optimism of superhero stories and the pessimism of noir. I’m probably listening to punk rock or rap music either way.

Chaosrayne PC, Console, and Tabletop Gamer; Lover of Sci-Fi and Fantasy; Comic Book Fan; Punk and Ska Music Enthusiast

You can pretty much figure out my interests in entertainment based on my desire for escapism.  The more it can whisk me away from the real world the more I’ll love it. I also miss arcades and arcade games.  As much as I love PC and console gaming it will never compare to playing an FPS in an arcade.

Top Five Books:

  • Boy Detective Fails by Joe Meno
  • Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
  • Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
  • Matter by Iain M Banks
  • Hellboy by Mike Mignola

DannyboyOne – writer, playwright
I actually have a superpower. I can move through time. Except I can only move forwards, and very slowly. My powers of forward time travel are sped up when watching any of the following:
  • Doctor Who
  • Mad Men
  • Burn Notice
  • anything by Woody Allen
  • anything by Martin Scorsese
Favorite Super Heroes are, in no particular order:
  • Silver Surfer
  • Vision
  • Iron Man
  • Batman
  • Ghost Rider
In my alter ego, I write plays. Past productions have included 1+1=0 produced by Capital Repertory Theatre with Humanitech, Monica Before and After by Stageworks Theatre in Hudson, NY, Bound (staged reading) by the Milkcan Theatre Company, and Don Quixote at Tiananmen Square produced by Second Generation Theatre Company. Presently, I’m working on a full-length version of Don Quixote at Tiananmen Square.
